§03The problem

What needs to change.

Gift officers carry large portfolios and spend hours before each visit piecing together giving history, relationships and the last conversation. Portfolios fill up with prospects who haven't been contacted in a year. Thank-yous go out late, impact reports are forgotten, and moves-management stages say "Cultivation" long after anything has moved.

§04The work

What it does.

  • Writes a one-page briefing before a visit: giving history, open pledges, relationships, affinity (alumni year, program, events, volunteering), last contacts and suggested talking points, all from your CRM
  • Prioritizes each officer's portfolio using capacity and affinity signals already in Salesforce, and explains why each prospect is near the top
  • Nudges stewardship: thank-yous not sent within your standard, pledge payments due, impact reports owed to endowed fund donors
  • Checks moves-management hygiene: stages with no activity, missing next steps, proposals past their ask date
  • Drafts contact reports and next-step tasks after a visit for the officer to edit and save
  • Gives managers a portfolio view: coverage, contact frequency and pipeline by stage
§05Fixed scope

§07In practice

Sample exchange.

Illustrative examples, not results from a client engagement.

You:Brief me on Margaret Chen before Thursday.

Agent:Margaret, '89 Engineering. $185k USD lifetime, last gift $25k USD to the Engineering Scholarship in May; a $100k USD pledge with $40k USD due in December. She's spoken at two alumni panels and her daughter graduated in 2024. Your last visit (March) noted interest in the new lab. Suggested focus: the lab naming opportunity, and thank her for the May gift.

You:Create a proposal for $250k USD for the lab, stage Solicitation.

Agent:Here's the draft: Opportunity 'Chen: Engineering Lab', $250k USD, stage Solicitation, ask date in 30 days. Confirm and I'll create it.

You:What's her net worth?

Agent:I only use what's in your CRM. Her research profile shows a capacity rating of $1M USD–$5M USD from your research team's 2025 review. I don't estimate wealth myself.

§08Your environment

Built for your org.

  • We set it up around your gift structures, fund designations, moves-management stages, capacity ratings and stewardship standards. It speaks in your terms (constituents, portfolios, solicitation plans) and uses only the data your officers are already allowed to see.

Installed as a package in your org, source visible to your admin.

Chat and generated visit briefings can consume Flex Credits. Agentforce testing, including sandbox tests, can consume requests and credits. We confirm metering against your licences.
